Homestead Pink is a spreading verbena that hugs the ground under a foot tall and rolls out clusters of clear pink flowers from spring until hard frost. One plant can cover two to three feet, making it an easy filler for bed edges, slopes, and spilling over walls.

It wants full sun and drainage above all; avoid low spots that stay wet in winter. Once established it takes drought and reflected heat off pavement without complaint. A light trim after each big flush of bloom keeps fresh flowers coming.
