Citronelle brings a lime-yellow glow to shady corners and woodland edges, with ruffled foliage that holds its color through Alabama winters. The delicate chartreuse deepens slightly as temperatures drop, giving you two seasons of interest in one plant.

Partial to full shade, tolerant of dry soil once rooted. Pair it with dark-leaved heucheras or hostas to make that yellow really sing, or mass it as a ground cover under trees where little else thrives.
