Pink Ruffles covers itself with clear pink double blooms, each edged in frilly, ruffled petals, set against dark evergreen leaves. The main show comes in spring, often with a lighter scattering of flowers again in fall. At 2 to 4 feet it works as the centerpiece of a large container or in groups and borders where you want a solid block of pink.

Plant it where it gets morning light and afternoon shade, in acidic, well-drained soil topped with pine straw. Water deeply through the first couple of summers. Do any pruning right after the spring bloom so you protect next year's buds.
