Golden yellow petals split into thin, thread-like segments that give this coreopsis an almost feathery face — a distinctive look among the tickseeds. Blooms continuously from late spring through fall in full sun and lean soil, and it shrugs off heat without complaint.

Grows 18–24 inches tall and spreads steadily to fill a border or container. Deadhead spent flowers to keep the show going, or let them go for a casual cottage feel. Once rooted in, it asks for nothing but occasional water during dry spells.
