Orange cosmos reach 2–3 feet and flower nonstop from planting until frost shuts them down. They take full sun and ordinary soil without complaint, which makes them reliable fillers for late-season color when other summer annuals have thinned out.

Deadhead to keep blooms coming, though they'll flower plenty even if you don't. Good choice for cutting too.
