Bright yellow flowers pour out of this compact bidens all season long, thriving in the heat and humidity that slow down other annuals. Plant it in a sunny spot and let it sprawl—it needs almost no fussing once established.

Pair it with purple or deep red companions to make the yellow sing, or mass it in a bed where you want reliable color from now through fall frost. It handles containers well and actually appreciates a bit of neglect.
