Anthuriums bloom in glossy, heart-shaped spathes of red, pink, or white, each centered by a slender spadix, held over deep green foliage. The blooms are long-lasting, and a happy plant will keep producing them off and on all year.

Place it in bright, indirect light and water when the top inch of soil dries. It appreciates humidity, so a kitchen or bathroom window works nicely. Use a loose, well-draining mix and feed lightly in spring and summer to keep the flowers coming.
