Marmaduke is a rex begonia, the group grown entirely for painted foliage, and this one wears golden-chartreuse leaves boldly mottled and stippled in chocolate brown. The crinkled texture catches the light, and a mature plant mounds into a full, colorful specimen without a flower in sight.

Give it bright, indirect light and let the top inch of soil dry between waterings. Rex begonias like humid air but dry leaves, so skip the misting and use a pebble tray instead, with good air circulation around the plant. Average room temperatures away from cold drafts suit it.
