Timeless Night is a coral bells with glossy, deep purple-black leaves overlaid with a silvery sheen, an evergreen mound of dark color that anchors shade combinations all year. From late spring onward, wiry stems lift sprays of small pink flowers well above the foliage, and the Timeless series reblooms reliably.

It performs in anything from morning sun to fairly deep shade here, asking mainly for well-drained soil; heavy wet clay in winter is what heucheras cannot forgive. Water during summer dry spells and snip spent flower stems to encourage more. Hummingbirds and bees both visit the blooms.
