Shangri La is a compact, clumping form of the big split-leaf philodendron: the same deeply lobed, emerald-green leaves, but on a plant that stays dense and shapely instead of sprawling or vining. The result is a full, tropical mound that behaves itself in a living room.

Bright, indirect light keeps it growing evenly; rotate the pot now and then so it fills out on all sides. Let the top inch or two of soil dry before watering, and keep it away from cold drafts. Average household humidity is fine, though it enjoys more.
