Specialty begonias grow tall and leggy compared to bedding types, reaching toward light in part-shade spots where shorter plants won't cut it. These bloom steadily through summer heat in white, filling vertical gaps at mid-border height.

Space them 18 inches apart in decent soil with regular water; they'll branch out to roughly 2 feet tall and wide by mid-season. Pinch the stems back early if you want bushier plants rather than a looser, more open habit.
